SCHMIDTSCHE SCHACK supports local initiative “SPORTS CONNECT” (orig. SPORT VERNETZT) by the ACT 1848 e.V. sports club in Kassel

Kassel, Germany, 24th of April 2023

SCHMIDTSCHE SCHACK, the world’s leading designer and fabricator of heat transfer solutions for high temperature and high-pressure processes with its headquarters in Kassel, is proud to announce their support for the project of a local sports club called “Aeltere Casseler Turngemeinde e.V.” – “SPORT VERNETZT” with a 5-digit annual donation.

The initiative focuses on providing children who are faced with socially challenging backgrounds in and around Kassel with opportunities for an active and healthy lifestyle. In cooperation with kindergartens, primary schools and other sports clubs, the program allows these children to take part in weekly sports and agility sessions as well as regularly scheduled events during free time and school breaks.

Young sports enthusiasts are encouraged to get moving, become fitter and make new friends while strengthening their social skills. The diverse sports offerings range from basic agility to various other disciplines and specific trainings like basketball.
